This project involves the installation of a 60-ton alloy furnace feeding system at Linyi Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., one of the major stainless-steel manufacturers in Shandong, China. The system was designed and supplied by YIDU SINOHI Machinery Co., Ltd., featuring a heavy-duty apron conveyor (ZBLW series) and an automatic rotating apron feeding system (Metallic Slipper type).
The project’s primary goal was to solve the challenges of large, heavy scrap materials (up to 3 tons per piece) and ensure continuous and safe feeding to the melting furnace. SINOHI’s equipment achieved a conveying capacity of 220 tons per hour, enabling efficient and fully automated furnace charging.
The apron conveyor is built with reinforced plate chains and NM wear-resistant steel plates, ensuring a long service life under high-temperature and heavy-impact conditions. Its patented sealing design prevents material leakage, while anti-blocking structures minimize downtime and improve operational stability.
After installation, SINOHI engineers conducted on-site commissioning and performance testing. The new system improved charging efficiency by over 30%, significantly reduced manual labor, and enhanced overall furnace safety and production reliability.
