This project was implemented for the Jiaozhou Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Industrial Park, focusing on upgrading the plant’s sludge drying and conveying system. The client required a high-efficiency conveying solution capable of continuous 24-hour operation to handle dewatered sludge with high viscosity and moisture content ranging from 30% to 50%.

Conventional conveyors at the facility faced persistent problems such as sludge sticking, corrosion, and frequent maintenance, resulting in inconsistent operation and high maintenance costs.

YIDU SINOHI Machinery Co., Ltd. provided a ZWGS50 sludge scraper conveyor, specifically designed for continuous sludge handling in harsh environments. The conveyor features a 500 mm width, 7.5 kW motor, and adjustable conveying speed (0.02–0.1 m/s), allowing a capacity of 12 m³/h at a 50° inclination. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with wear-resistant liners, the equipment offers excellent durability, while its enclosed structure prevents leakage, contamination, and corrosion.

The system also integrates overload and chain-break protection, ensuring operational reliability and safety. Designed for 24-hour service, the conveyor achieves a noise level below 85 dB and a service life exceeding 15 years, providing the client with a stable, efficient, and low-maintenance sludge conveying solution.
