Rotary Feed Valve Product Features

1. Simple structure, easy to use and maintain, the temperature of the conveyed material can be between 0 and 300℃
2. The speed can be adjusted remotely through the frequency converter, and the feeding amount can be easily changed.
3. The discharge amount changes very little with the change of physical properties and the change of the material stored in the separator or dryer.
4. It has a certain air tightness, slow speed, and almost no damage to the material.
The outlet and inlet of the rotary feed valve housing are generally arranged tangentially, and then have a plow-shaped suction edge to prevent shearing and clamping of the product. It can work normally even if it is discharged from a full silo. The conveying capacity of the rotary feed valve is roughly proportional to the speed of the rotor. The circumferential speed of the outer end of the rotor blade must be within a certain range. When the speed exceeds this range, the capacity of the feed valve decreases with the increase of the speed. This phenomenon is believed to be caused by the blade speed being too fast. When the rotor blades are unloading downward, some of the powder and granular materials that should have been unloaded did not have time to fall and were brought back. Therefore, when the diameter of the rotor is larger, the speed of the rotary valve is smaller. According to the on-site experience, when the rotor diameter of the rotary feed valve is 600mm~800mm, the speed range is more suitable between 20~30r/min. For different material properties, fluidity, and the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the feed valve, the volumetric efficiency of the rotary feed valve is 0.7~0.8, and the volumetric efficiency of PTA powder is roughly 0.5~0.6.
