1. The bucket elevator should be started with no load. Therefore, all materials in the bucket should be drained before each shutdown, and then the machine should be stopped.
2. It cannot be reversed. Reversing may cause chain derailment, and it is very troublesome to eliminate the derailment fault.
3. Feed evenly. It is forbidden to increase the feeding amount suddenly. The feeding amount cannot exceed the conveying capacity of the elevator. Otherwise, it is easy to cause a “stuck car” accident when the material at the bottom is seriously accumulated.
4. Add lubricating oil in time and in an appropriate amount.
5. The chain and bucket should be replaced in time when they are seriously worn or damaged.
